Medical Clinic
The Vineyard Medical Clinic provides short-term medical assistance while assisting with the identification of community resources better suited for meeting long term health care needs. In order to meet these objectives, our clinic partners with Idaho State University, utilizing our clinic to serve as a training ground for students under their supervision.
Our clinic patients are currently served by a staff which includes a provider, nursing staff, patient and provider advocate, an a translator for our Spanish speaking community.
We are staffed with a tremendous team of volunteers seeking to use their gift of compassion as well as their God given talents to meet the physical need of the uninsured members of our community.
Our services are available to members of the community over the age of 12 years who for various reason are not covered by insurance coverage issued by either governmental or private sources.
Clinic is currently operated Wednesday and Saturday mornings between the hours of 9:30 AM and noon. Patients are seen on a first come, first serve basis. Typically we serve between seven and nine patients during this time frame. Any patient not able to be served are referred to various community resources.
Locally, we also coordinate care on Wednesdays with Stanton Health Care Service to provide pregnancy verification for their clients.
On an international level, we work in conjunction with other local and national sending agencies to help provide health care to needy areas of the world on short-term trips and in crisis situations, such as the recent earthquake disaster in Haiti.
